The Columbia County Commissioners intend to submit 2026 HOME applications to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The applications will be for the following:

• $750,000-Owner Occupied Home Rehab- County wide
• $422,269- CHDO Operating- Community Strategies Group
• $2,092,760- New Construction: Homebuyer 8 Units- Berwick Borough- Pin Number: 04B04 00100
• $430,244- New Construction: Rental Duplex- 343/345 LaSalle St, Berwick PA 18603

A Meeting will be held on August 19, 2026, at 1 PM, in the conference room at 160 W 6th Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom has been set up:

The purpose of the meeting is to provide information, answer questions and obtain comments for the proposed projects.

The Columbia County Commissioners intend to formally ratify the application at their regularly scheduled meeting on September 3, 2026, at 2PM, in the small conference room located at 702 Sawmill Road, Bloomsburg PA 17815. Written public comments are invited until 3 PM on September 2, 2026, with comments being submitted to Betsy Rubio, Deputy Director, Columbia County Housing and Redevelopment Authority, 570-784-9373, brubio@cchrapa.org.
